Kidical Mass rides Saturday, May 11 at 10:45 am. In partnership with Splendid Cycles and the Audubon Society, we are entering a team in the Audubon’s annual Bird-a-Thon!
Sign up to join the Bicycling Birdos, learn more about the route, and get your fundraising materials together, all at the Audubon Bird-a-Thon site.
Ride with leader Barb Grover of Splendid Cycles, and our bevy of bicycling birders for this family-friendly excursion! This group welcomes birdos of all ages; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This 2-3-hour trip focuses on the fun of sleuthing-out birds in our urban environment, all by bike!
We’ll ride through birdy and bicycle-friendly SE Portland neighborhoods to a bird-friendly park for picnic and birdo activities. So, pack your binoculars, diaper bags, and bike helmets, for this group ride that’s going to the birds!
Though we may not sneak up on any rare or elusive species, we will discover the joy of birding and share that joy with the whole family!
